What time is check-in and check-out

Campsites:
Check-in is from midday.
Check-out is by midday.

Accommodation:
Check-in is from 2pm
Check-out is by 10am

If you’re arriving after hours, please contact us in advance to arrange access. Early check-in and late check-out available on request, subject to availability. Extra fees apply.

What accommodation options are available?

In the Tourist Park:
The Park offers powered and unpowered sites, plus adults only and family glamping tents and cabins.

Logue Brook Campground:
The campground offers unpowered sites in all shapes and sizes from caravans to tents and swags.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, for $2 per night per pet, dogs are allowed on all campsites but must be kept on lead at all times.
There is only one pet friendly cabin called the Ski Shack. (extra fees apply) Dogs are not permitted in any other cabins or glamping tents.

Can I have a campfire?

Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits during lower-risk periods. Fires are generally prohibited during the fire season and at any time when total fire bans are in place. Please note that restrictions may change depending on weather and environmental conditions. For the most up-to-date information, please contact us prior to your stay.

Is there swimming or water access? 

Yes Logue Brook Dam is open for swimming, trout fishing, Marroning (in season only) boating and waterskiing all year round.

There is a boat ramp for easy access.

Are there amenities?

Lake Brockman Tourist Park:
The park has clean ablution blocks (bathrooms/showers), fully equipped camp kitchens (with BBQs, fridges, toasters, microwaves etc), outdoor gym equipment, laundry, kids playground, and an onsite cafe open 7 days a week. Each site has its own fire pit for use during the cooler months.

Logue Brook Campground - No power, No Showers:

The campground has drop toilets, an undercover BBQ area, and access to the café, which is open 7 days a week. Sites include a fire pit (for use during the cooler months), as well as a picnic table with bench seating. There is also a BMX pump track for the kids.

Please note: The campground does not have showers, and guests do not have access to the tourist park ablution blocks. Power and water are not available at individual sites—running water is only available in the camp kitchen area.

How do I check in after hours?

It is recommended to contact the park beforehand as, without phone reception, finding that information can be challenging on arrival.

However, if you are arriving after hours an envelope with your name on it will be left outside the reception/cafe door with all the instructions you need to find and settle into your campsite or accommodation.

How do I book?

Bookings can be made online which is essential during peak periods and if arriving after hours.

You can also call us on (08) 9733 5402 and one of our friendly reception staff will assist you to make a booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

Lake Brockman Tourist Park:
The first night's deposit is required at the time of booking, this is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Full payment is required prior to arrival.

Cancellations will be accepted up to 7 days prior to the booking date and any monies paid will be held for a future booking within a 6-month period.

When cancellations are made within 7 days of the booking, any payment made Is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

No refund or credit will apply for cancellations or amendments made at the commencement of or during the stay.

Management reserves the right to cancel all or part of your booking  for your own safety in the event of a fire or severe weather. Monies paid will be held for a future booking to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the guest and management.

Park Management also reserves the right to evict a guest is behaviour is deemed unacceptable. There will be no refund or credit under these circumstances.

Logue Brook Campground:
Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Any cancellations made 7 days prior to the arrival date is transferrable within a 6 month period.

Any cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Where is Lake Brockman Tourist Park and Logue Brook Dam located?

The park is about a 10-minute drive from the town of Harvey, nestled in state forest overlooking Logue Brook Dam.

If travelling from Perth, turn left onto Logue Brook Dam Road and follow it for approximately 6 km until you see the signs to Lake Brockman Tourist Park. The park is located on the western side of Logue Brook Dam.
Do not cross the dam wall.

Should I bring my own drinking water?

While ablution blocks provide water for washing, it is recommended that visitors bring their own drinking water.

Drinking water can be purchased from the cafe/reception during trading hours.

Is there mobile phone coverage?

Coverage can be limited, with Telstra often being the only network available in some areas; however, Optus network access is available near the boat ramp.

Is there wifi?

There is no wifi available.

What activities are available at the park and on the dam?

Visitors can enjoy swimming, canoeing,  water skiing, fishing (trout all year with a fresh water licence, marron in season with a marron license), bushwalking (Bibbulman Track access) and mountain biking (Munda Biddi trail access) bushwalking and bird watching.

What are the cafe/reception opening hours?

Summer hours:
Saturday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
Friday 8am - 6pm

Winter hours:
Sunday and Monday 8am - 4pm
Friday 9am - 6pm
Saturday 8am - 5pm

CLOSED: Good Friday and Christmas Day
